The Future Direction Network is pleased to announce that applications for the 2015 scholarship are now open.
FDN Chairman Ninus Kanna is hoping the 2015 scholarship will be as exciting as the 2014 process.
“We had a great 2014. With the great successes achieved by 2014 winners Isabelle Babana, Paulo Greaves and Mechelen D’Souza, as well as 2013 winners Lauren Pearce, Joseph Babana and Pita Siganiuscu, we’re excited to offer three more students a scholarship that will undoubtedly help them continue their studies at university and move much closer to their academic potential.”
2013 winner Lauren Pearce tells us how important it is for students to spend ten minutes of their time filling out the application form.
Students living in the western suburbs of Sydney now have a greater incentive to continue their studies post high school and engage in university study.
Future Direction Network is intending to offer 3 x 3 year scholarships worth $6,000 per annum commencing in 2015. The scholarship recipients will also be paired with a mentor to help support, encourage and guide the student through their studies.
Applicants must live in South West Sydney and have completed their HSC at a high school located in South West Sydney.
Applications close at Midnight Sunday 11th of January 2015 with the recipients being named shortly thereafter.
