Ninus Kanna, BEc, MBA (Macq.) / Executive Chairman
Ninus Kanna is Senior Investment Analyst with global real estate manager Quay Global Investors. Quay is part of Bennelong Funds Management, managing A$8 billion across eleven funds. Prior to this, Ninus was the Principal Financial Analyst with the New South Wales Ministry of Health. His role there involved financial oversight of the $19 billion health budget for the state of New South Wales. Before his move into health administration, Ninus spent over seven years in equity markets, as an Investment Analyst with CLSA, Asia’s leading independent brokerage and investment group. Prior to joining CLSA, Ninus was an Associate Portfolio Manager at ING Investment Management, co-managing a $1.3 billion listed portfolio. He has also worked as an investment analyst with Merrill Lynch and Morningstar. Ninus is an alumni of the Young Leadership Dialogue (YLD) organised by the Australian American Leadership Dialogue (AALD). He graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) and holds a Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University.
Corey Payne, BCom (Sydney), GAICD / Executive Director
Corey Payne is a Churchill Fellow, former NSW Young Australian of the Year, Alumni Award recipient at the University of Sydney and a former Australian professional Rugby League player.He was raised in South-West Sydney and attended King Park Primary School before completing his Higher School Certificate (HSC) in 2001 at Westfields Sports High. Corey is the founder of the Future Direction Network (FDN) and a strong proponent of further education. He is passionate about education and the potential opportunities it can deliver.Corey is a former member of the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs, the Wests Tigers and the Saint George Illawarra Dragons NRL squads. He appeared in excess of 100 NRL matches as well as the 2012 NRL Grand Final, before retiring in January 2013. He was recognised by the Rugby League Players Association and National Rugby League on several occasions for his ability to combine top-level sport and academic success.Corey holds a postgraduate degree with Merit and an undergraduate degree from the University of Sydney, he is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is studying Advanced Design Thinking at the Hasso Plattner Institut in Berlin, Germany.
Irene Pediotis, BBus (W.Syd.), CPA / Executive Director / CFO

Irene Pediotis was born and raised in Sydney’s south west. Irene is a founding director of Future Direction Network.  She has worked as an accountant since 2002 and recently completed the CPA program.  Amongst her studies and work as an accountant Irene has dedicated her weekends to helping her family run business in Green Valley. In 2006 Irene along with her team from her previous job followed their supervising partner and facilitated in establishing a new tax accounting firm from scratch. Irene is a strong believer in hard work and always strives to help others achieve their goals.Irene attended St John’s Park High School and completed a Bachelor of Business from the University of Western Sydney.
Jennifer Slaviero, BA LLB (UTS) / Director

Jennifer Slaviero joined the Future Direction Board in April 2010. Jennifer grew up in Casula, Liverpool. She currently works as a lawyer at DibbsBarker Lawyers in the property team. Jennifer has delivered motivational speeches to senior students at a range of high schools in South West Sydney and has provided tuition services to all aged students from the South West.Jennifer has a double degree in Communications (Public Communication) and Laws with first class honours from the University of Technology Sydney. She was admitted as a solicitor in August 2009. She has just commenced a Master of Laws at the University of Sydney.
Tania Huynh, BBus LLB (Hons.) (UTS) / Director
Tania joined the Future Direction Network board in July 2010. Tania is of Vietnamese descent and has lived in South West Sydney since she was seven. Tania is extremely active in the community and was awarded the Young Vietnamese Australian of the Year 2005 and Young Fairfield Citizen of the Year in 2009. Tania’s commitment to strengthening multiculturalism was recognised by the Federal government in 2013 when she became a People of Australia Ambassador. In 2014 Tania received a scholarship from the Federal Government to complete a semester of study in Hong Kong. Tania graduated with Distinction in Business and First Class Honours in Law from the University of Technology Sydney in 2013. Tania is currently working for the City of Ryde as the Public Relations Co-ordinator.
